How we recycle

At DDD Material, we believe responsibility for our products extends beyond the point of sale. We are actively building a circular ecosystem for digital fabrication materials in Hong Kong through a multi-faceted recycling program.

1. Regular Partner Recycling
We work with designated recycling partners in Hong Kong to ensure that all used or defective materials from our operations are processed responsibly and given a new life on a regular basis.

2. Community Recycling Initiatives
To amplify our impact, we proactively partner with educational institutions and student bodies. Through these collaborations, we conduct special drives to collect and recycle unused materials for further processing, supporting sustainable practices in the maker community.

3. Customer Take-Back Program
To make recycling as accessible as possible, we accept returns of used materials that were originally purchased from us. If you have finished with your materials and are unsure how to recycle them, you can return them to us for proper processing. For details on how to arrange a return, please feel free to contact us.

How you can help

Building a greener maker community is a shared effort. Here’s how you can contribute and amplify the impact of your creative projects:

1. Share & Extend the Life of Materials
Have unused filaments or leftover materials from a completed project? Don't let them go to waste. Consider passing them on to fellow makers, students, or local workshops. This simple act of sharing fuels more creativity and reduces the demand for new resources.

2. Recycle Right in Hong Kong
For used materials that are no longer usable, responsible recycling is key. While we welcome returns through our Take-Back Program, you also have direct access to local recycling services.

A primary resource in Hong Kong is the EcoPark, which handles the recovery of various plastics and materials. You can find more information on their services and how to use them via their official website:

We encourage you to explore these local options to help build a robust recycling ecosystem for everyone.
